LEC Launches Its Fifth Literacy Center

In October, the LEC will launch its fifth Literacy Center at Jacox Elementary School in Norfolk, VA.  The Project Light Literacy Program will target kindergarten students who, with a little extra support, can develop the foundational skills needed to experience academic success.  We are excited over this opportunity to serve the children at Jacox and look forward to developing a great partnership with the teachers and administrators at the school.  If you would like to volunteer as a literacy tutor, you may contact the LEC at 757-623-6001.
